Business Development Executive - Automotive Engineering Services

Job Summary: The Business Development Executive will play a critical role in driving the growth and expansion of our automotive engineering services. This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in business development, sales, and the automotive engineering service sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring prompt resolution of any issues.
  • Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the automotive sector.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and market trends.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business growth objectives.
  • Present and promote our services to potential clients through meetings, presentations, and industry events.
  • Sales and Marketing:
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing materials and campaigns tailored to the automotive engineering sector.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote our services and generate leads.
  • Proposal and Contract Management:
  • Prepare and present detailed proposals and quotations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring mutual satisfaction and compliance with company policies.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance and market conditions.

 

Qualifications

  • Education: MBA in Marketing, or a related field from a reputed institute.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the automotive engineering services industry.
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing client base.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of automotive mechanical design and engineering services.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
    • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
