Business Development Executive - Automotive Engineering Services
Job Summary: The Business Development Executive will play a critical role in driving the growth and expansion of our automotive engineering services. This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in business development, sales, and the automotive engineering service sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring prompt resolution of any issues.
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the automotive sector.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and market trends.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business growth objectives.
- Present and promote our services to potential clients through meetings, presentations, and industry events.
- Sales and Marketing:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing materials and campaigns tailored to the automotive engineering sector.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote our services and generate leads.
- Proposal and Contract Management:
- Prepare and present detailed proposals and quotations to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring mutual satisfaction and compliance with company policies.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance and market conditions.
Qualifications
- Education: MBA in Marketing, or a related field from a reputed institute.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the automotive engineering services industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing client base.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of automotive mechanical design and engineering services.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
