· Create and develop BIW and Chassis components from concept to production.
· Use CAD software (such as CATIA/NX) to create 3D models and 2D drawings.
· Consider structural analysis and simulations results to ensure safety and performance.
· Choose appropriate materials considering weight, cost, and performance.
· Manage project timelines, costs, and resources.
· Act as a mentor for new team members and juniors.
· Work with other engineering teams and suppliers.
· Oversee prototyping and testing of BIW and Chassis components.
· Ensure all designs meet quality standards and regulations.
· Stay updated with industry trends and improve design processes.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
· 5 to 8 years with Tier 1 or OEM experience.
· Proficient in CAD software (CATIA/NX) and knowledge on CAE tools.
· Expertise in design of Sheetmetal, Castings and Plastic parts.
· Experience in GD&T and Tolerance Stack-up Analysis.
· Experience with lightweight materials and advanced manufacturing techniques.
· Experience in joining, gluing, and coating techniques.
· Experience in assembly fixtures and gauges.
· Strong problem-solving skills with experience in engineering analysis.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· High attention to detail and willing to work with in Team.
· Knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications
